Al Noshirvani
Fitness industry veteran and software entrepreneur Al Noshirvani holds nearly three decades of experience in software sales and business development. As Co-Founder and Partner of ALTA Technology Group, he provides strategic consulting and facilitates contract negotiations for Top 100 fitness organizations.
Al began his career in sales for a medical software imaging company, in which he successfully exited as Executive VP of Sales.
In 2004, following four years as General Manager of KI Software, Al and his brother, Hossein acquired the assets of the company and founded Motionsoft, where he served as CEO and Chairman. In 2020, Motionsoft was acquired by Daxko, a leading provider of software and financial services for the health, fitness, and wellness industries. Prior to successfully exiting Motionsoft, he completed five other acquisitions and raised more than $40 million in venture debt and equity capital to grow Motionsoft to over 100 employees and 2,500 customers globally. Under his leadership, Motionsoft was recognized as the 2014 IHRSA Associate Member of the Year.
In 2010, Al was a member of the Washington Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” class, which recognizes the Greater Washington region’s brightest young business leaders based on demonstrated business success.
Al is a passionate advocate for the fitness industry and community health. To bring the industry together for the betterment of their business and the communities they serve, he founded The Fitness Technology Summit in 2012. This annual, invitation-only event brings together fitness marketing, operations, and technology executives for 3 days of networking, education sessions, and insightful panel discussions to continue to drive the industry forward.
Al is a member of the IHRSA Board of Directors and continues to consult with leading enterprise wellness brands.
